Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense company in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking an experienced assembler to join their team. Responsibilities include hand soldering using a microscope, assembling fabricated parts, and testing to meet specifications. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 1+ years of experience in assembly and warehouse machine operation. This is a 6+ month contract with potential for permanent hire based on performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• Hand soldering using a microscope is required.
• 1+ years of assembler experience is mandatory.
• Experience in warehouse machine operation for at least a year is required.

Responsibilities

• Assembling fabricated parts at floor stations.
• Testing and calibrating parts to meet tolerances.
• Using tools to assemble units as per specifications.
• Identifying and repairing units that fail tests.

Job Description

• Hand soldering using a microscope
• SMT, Thru-hole/POT, and Coating
• Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• 1+ years of assembler experience
• 1+ year of warehouse machine operation

Additional Information

• Shifts: 6:30am - 3:00pm from Monday to Friday
• Pay:DOE
