Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components per drawings and specs.
  • Follow production drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools and small power tools for placement and wiring.
  • Inspect parts and perform basic tests to ensure quality.
  • Rework and repair defective units as needed.
  • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances.
  • Solder and de-solder through-hole and surface-mount components.

Responsibilities include up to and are not limited to: * Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components such as power supplies, modules, and cable harnesses* Follow production drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assemblies* Use hand tools and small power tools for component placement and wiring* Inspect parts and perform basic tests to ensure quality standards* Rework and repair defective units as needed* Fitting, aligning, calibrating and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements* Use grinding machines, drill press and power drill as necessary during assembly* Solder and de-solder through-hole and surface mount components using soldering iron and hot air techniques* Work as a team member, reporting to a Leader on assembly status* Communicate clearly and effectively* Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures* Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions* Ability to work OT as required to meet production goals* Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent* 1-3 years of relevant work experience* Ability to assemble sheet metal covers, motion components, cast structures, wiring harnesses* Ability to run programming scripts for product integration testing* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Fundamental computer operation skills* Preferred requirement – certified operate a forklift Work Environment: Climate controlled manufacturing environment (assembly, machining, quality control facility) Exposure to possible hazards may include noise, electricity, and other automated and manual machinery.
