Job summary

Pneumatech Safety Systems, Inc. seeks an On-Site Assembler in Texas to safely assemble components and subassemblies for pneumatic systems. You will read schematics, prepare materials, and ensure quality while working closely with production staff.

Responsibilities include wiring, tubing, mounting, and verifying specifications. Must pass background checks and drug screening; high school or equivalent required; electrical experience is a plus.

• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment.
• Prepares work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.

Job Summary:

The Pneumatech Assembly worker should possess the ability to perform tasks safely and promptly with day-to-day maintenance and support of Pneumatic Systems to minimize or resolve downtime. This requires the ability to be a team player, to work closely with production personnel, take direction from your lead, and willingness to learn a new task.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Assist in running wire, stainless steel tubing, mounting tanks, hanging sheet metal, compressor mounting.
• Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with a forklift.
• Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Conducts quality control checks.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing a checkout form.

Education, Experience and Skills required:

• High school or equivalent
• Electrical experience is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening & background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing 50 pounds.
• Ability to work standing up to 10 hours per day.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $18-$22/hour
