Philips is seeking an Assembler to set up and operate equipment for assembling products on the 1st shift in Ontario, California. The role requires handling small, delicate parts with high accuracy and following established procedures to ensure quality and traceability.
You will work with hand tools and soldering equipment, document production metrics daily, and participate in team projects to support continuous improvement, all while practicing Philips values and respectful teamwork.
The Assembler is responsible for setting up and operating a machine to assemble and process individual products, working under closed supervision on the 1st shift!
Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy. Perform a variety of electro‑mechanical assembly operations using small hand tools, soldering equipment and machinery. Follow methods of sequence of operations to ensure documented & controlled processes are followed. Must be able to understand & document daily production metrics accurately. May participate in projects as a team member in the development of skills, talents, and teamwork to support improvement projects. Expected to demonstrate the Philips Behaviors, treat all team members with respect, and value their feedback.
Your skills include good hand eye coordination, communication skills (both verbal and written) You have a high school diploma, Vocational training or equivalent. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office‑based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role in Ontario, California on the 1st shift!

Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Ontario, California is $15.56 to $20.75 an hour. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives may be offered.
