Job summary

Pattison ID is seeking a manufacturing associate to support assembly and packing on the production floor. You will organize the work area, assemble ACM panels per current standards and quota, and assist with packing materials as needed. Emphasis on safe tool use and reporting issues to supervision.

Candidates should understand basic manufacturing workflows and maintain a clean, organized workspace, with a mindset toward continuous improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with production and manufacturing workflow is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with ACM panels is a plus but not required.
• Professional experience in manufacturing or assembly is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand production workflow and keep the assembly area organized and clean.
• Assemble ACM panels per standards and quota.
• Assist with packing materials and handle tools safely.
• Maintain tools and report issues to supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement in processes and methods.

Essential Functions

Manufacturing:

• Understanding of production and manufacturing workflow
• Keep Assembly area of the Production Floor organized and clean
• Organize tools and material stored in correct locations end of shift work
• Assembly of ACM panels per PSG standards and current quota
• Assist with packing material in crates as needed.
• Utilizes drills, other small tools, and common hand tools as needed and trained to use.
• Keep tools and equipment maintained, stored, and secured per policy and report any issues to supervisor.
• Have an approach of continuous improvement to process and methods

Health & Safety

• Adheres to all Health and Safety Programs Rules, Procedures and Polices while on the production floor.
• PPE to be worn all times while on the production floor
• Maintains work area cleanliness throughout shift and end of shift work

Quality Assurance

• Adheres to all Quality Standards during Assembly and Packing.
• Communicate to Lead, Production Supervisor and Quality Supervisor when quality issues arise that could impact final product to customer.

Inventory Management

• Complete all material and time tracking operations timely and accurately.
• Notify lead and production supervisor when material is running low
• Follow the inventory control process and storage for use of materials and supplies.

Education & Experience

• ACM Product knowledge preferred; not required
• General carpentry and/or manufacturing experience preferred; not required
• Manufacturing and product assembly experience preferred; not required

Physical Demands

• Ability to handle and lift up to up to 75 pounds at times for specific job functions
• May have to work with or around electrical equipment
• May be required to stand 80% of the work schedule
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
