Arctic Slope Regional Corporation is seeking a P-Card Specialist to administer and support the organization’s purchasing card (P-Card) program. This role ensures compliance with policies and financial controls while delivering strong customer service to cardholders and managers.

You will monitor transactions, conduct audits, resolve discrepancies, and partner with Finance to maintain an efficient, compliant program. Alaska-based role with growth opportunities within ASRC.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in purchasing card administration, accounts payable, procurement, finance, or related financial operations.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Vista or similar financial systems.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance standards.

Job description

The Purchase Card (P-Card) Specialist administers and supports the organization’s p-card program . This role ensures compliance with company policies, financial controls, and applicable regulations while providing excellent customer service to cardholders and managers. The P-Card Specialist monitors transactions, performs audits, resolves discrepancies, manages cardholder accounts, and partners with Finance to maintain an efficient and compliant purchasing card program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)

Administer the organization’s p-card program in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Issue, modify, suspend, and close purchasing card accounts as needed.

Review cardholder applications and maintain accurate program documentation.

Monitor purchasing card transactions for compliance with company policies, spending limits, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular internal audits of card activity, supporting documentation and respond to related inquiries.

Investigate and resolve policy violations, disputed charges, fraudulent activity, and other transaction discrepancies.

Reconcile purchasing card transactions and ensure timely submission and approval of expense documentation.

Maintain accurate records of cardholder agreements.

Assist with system testing, process improvements, and implementation of new purchasing card technologies or enhancements that increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and enhance the user experience.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, audit requirements, and applicable financial regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two (2) or more years of experience in purchasing card administration, accounts payable, procurement, finance, or a related financial operations role preferred.

Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Vista, or similar financial systems preferred.

Skill in the use of Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance standards preferred.
