Job summary

TD Wealth in Augusta, Maine is seeking a Trainee Advisor who will learn the necessary skills to qualify for an Advisor role within TD Wealth. You will meet with customers to assess financial information and guide them toward suitable investment and insurance strategies.

Upon completion of the trainee program, you will transition to an Advisor role, attracting and retaining clients by addressing their wealth management needs, and collaborating with TD Bank staff to identify referral opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience or college degree.
• SIE required.
• Ability to obtain Life & Health, Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) within Licensing & Registration Schedule.
• Self-directed with strong planning to achieve sales and referral goals.
• General understanding of wealth products and services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to FA training class upon obtaining required licenses

Responsibilities

• Obtain skills to qualify for Advisor role within a specified time frame.
• Actively call and meet TD Bank customers and prospects to deepen relationships.
• Utilize a financial needs assessment to identify annuity and insurance opportunities and referrals.
• Meet insurance agency requirements and comply with TD Wealth policies.
• Provide direct sales and fulfillment of insurance and annuity solutions where suitable.
• Educate TD Bank employees on wealth products and offerings.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with ongoing consultations and reviews.
