Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services in a fast-paced salon environment.

As a temporary position, you will train under a senior stylist during the first three months, then begin servicing guests of your own while focusing on guest service, productivity, and accurate, compliant salon practices. You will participate in trainings and stay informed about trends for an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Strong knowledge of latest salon techniques across hair, makeup, and services.
• Proven ability to communicate, consult, and sell products while delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests and consult on hair care needs and services.

• Assist mentor stylist and then service guests independently after month three.
• Maintain sanitation, organization, and safety procedures in the salon.
