Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist in Stockton for a temporary training track. You will engage guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services while being mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist for the first three months.

After four to six months you may begin servicing guests independently and perform a range of hair and makeup services. Excellent guest service, a passion for the beauty industry, and willingness to learn new skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Ability to perform a broad range of hair and makeup services.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals for retail and service sales.
• Assist mentor stylist with appointments, color, and styling services as needed.
• After month three, perform hair services and make‑up applications.
• Demonstrate products and drive guest engagement with demonstrations.
• Support in‑store events and promotions to enhance guest experience.
