Hop Shops, a division of Valor Oil, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lewisport, KY. You will help develop leadership skills, oversee daily retail operations, and support career growth within Valor. The role starts immediately with a pay rate of $16.25 per hour and a scheduled first shift during training, then varies.

This position focuses on team leadership, store operations, customer service, and safety, offering opportunities to advance to a Store Manager role as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members.
• Support daily operations and store execution.
• Coach and mentor team members; Step in for the Store Manager as needed.
• Manage inventory, cash handling, and store maintenance.
