Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs.

You will collaborate with school teams to deliver SESI’s PBIS-based learning model in in-district classrooms or standalone sites and adapt instruction for individual student goals. Role emphasizes smaller class sizes, ongoing professional development, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning and applying feedback.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic classroom.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students from varying developmental and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize SESI instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies, including de-escalation and safety protocols.
• Maintain student documentation (IEPs, BIPs, incident reports).
• Track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during movement within the school.
