Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and have completed two semesters including didactic and clinical coursework.
• Currently enrolled in a program related to diagnostic sonography with clinical exposure and didactic coursework.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical sonography examinations with cognitive skills to identify and document findings.
• Communicate findings to supervising radiologist or certified staff.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Introduce self to patient and properly identify patient with two identifiers.
• Prepare exam area and maintain equipment and supplies.
