Job summary

Special Education Association of Peoria County (SEAPCO) seeks a paid School Psychologist Intern for the 2026-2027 term. The Resident will be mentored by a professional school psychologist team while completing Illinois licensure requirements (PEL SPSY).

Qualifications

• Final year student in an approved college program for Illinois School Psychologist licensure.
• Eligibility for Illinois PEL Endorsement/Approval SPSY.
• Strong grounding in psychological assessment, observation and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive, emotional and social function testing and evaluations.
• Perform interviews and behavioral evaluations and interpret related information.
• Provide therapy and psychological services as part of the student support plan.
• Respond to unplanned crises and emergencies as required.
