Job summary

Wingmen V LLC is seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead Heart of House, Bar, and Hospitality operations in Peru, IL. You will oversee HOH, Bar, and dining room activities, ensuring safe practices and profitability through effective labor and revenue management.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and guest-experience focus, with responsibilities spanning staffing, training, and performance coaching across departments.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create a fun, exciting environment for guests and Team Members.
• Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience.
• Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred.
• This role requires the completion of a high school education or equivalent, a valid driver's license to travel between units, a satisfactory background check, and the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff staffing, recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development to maintain department team staffing levels.
• Develops action/development plans for direct reports.
• Coordinate with other Department Managers on hiring decisions to ensure growth opportunities for Team Members.
• Create department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
• Create and implement incentive programs and contests for department.
• Provide regular performance feedback and annual reviews.
• Coach other managers on performance management procedures.
• Ensure guest experience and service standards are met and sustained.
• Use GEM and other tools to monitor guest satisfaction and address issues.
• Ensure BOH and Allergens safety, and adherence to health standards.
