Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach, CA is seeking a motivated Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. You will work closely with the Director of Golf Operations and Head Golf Professional to deliver exceptional member and guest service and support all golf operations.

This role offers growth opportunities through PGA programming, tournament administration, merchandising, and club programming as part of a dynamic private club environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf operations, preferably at a private club, resort, or high-end facility.
• PGA Membership or enrollment in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of golf, etiquette, tournament operations, and Rules of Golf.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized service to members and guests.
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing, tee times, member requests, and calls.
• Develop relationships with members and become an engaged member of the team.
• Assist with planning, administration, and execution of member tournaments and club programming.
• Prepare tournament materials, pairings, scorecards, and related communications.
• Assist with tee sheet management and monitor daily play.
• Support pace-of-play initiatives and communicate club policies professionally.
• Assist with golf shop merchandising, inventory, and displays.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming golf shop environment.
• Assist with instruction, clinics, junior programs, and development initiatives.
