Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming, starting with a ten-week training period to learn bathing, drying, nails, brushing, and gland cleaning under seasoned groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year animal related experience preferred or shelter volunteering
• High school diploma or GED preferred though not required
• Genuine passion for animals and grooming career interest
• Basic understanding of dog breeds and grooming practices
• Effective communication with pet parents and team
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services under supervision: bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning and gland cleaning
• Ensure animal well‑being and safety at all times in the salon
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools
• Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and guidelines
