Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Service Student Technician to join the Inspection Service Business. You will gain hands-on experience in nondestructive examination areas such as ultrasonics, eddy current, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual exams.

Qualifications

• Must be a student
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with experienced examiners to prepare for field projects
• Gain knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
• Look at our Americas and EMEA markets to understand where our next opportunities are
• Take initiative on assigned tasks with little oversight
• Engage with the strategic culture and employee engagement work we are doing across the business
• Interact with leadership to gain insight into how the business operates
• Work with our Reactor, Inservice Inspection, Balance of Plant and Steam Generator Examination teams
