Job summary

May Institute in North Attleboro, MA is hiring an Assistant Program Coordinator for the Adult Residential Program. This manager-in-training role supports individuals with autism and developmental disabilities and oversees daily operation of the residential home.

You will work closely with the Program Coordinator, assisting in care delivery, coordinating routines, and ensuring safety protocols. The position offers on-site work, growth toward leadership, and a commitment to compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year driving with a valid US license preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assist in daily site operations.
• Coordinate meal prep, shopping, recreation planning and household organization.
• Support MAP procedures, documentation, and safety protocols.
• Maintain communication with the Program Coordinator and nursing teams.
• Take on-call responsibilities two days per week and cover the home when the PC is on leave.
