AMAX is seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join their Engineering team in Colorado. This role involves designing, deploying, and troubleshooting high-performance computing systems, with a focus on Linux environments and GPU-based computing.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to one year of relevant experience. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 annually along with competitive benefits including health insurance and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Fresh grad or 1 year of experience working with server hardware or data center infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Experience with GPU platforms and server components.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy server and HPC systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and operating system issues.
• Collaborate with teams to define system specifications.

Skills

Linux operating systems experience

Problem-solving skills

Experience with GPU platforms

Scripting experience (Bash, Python)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

1 year of experience with server hardware or HPC systems
