Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience in a classroom setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and human relations skills.
• Basic digital literacy and adaptability with classroom technology.
• Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons per division and school objectives and student needs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements an instructional program that provides appropriate learning experiences for each student.
• Collaborates within a professional learning community to nurture and sustain a school culture and instructional program conducive to accelerated student achievement.
• Assesses student achievement and maintains appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for reporting.
• Manages the behavior of learners to provide a conducive learning environment and assists in behavior management across the school.
• Coordinates instructional activities and collaborates with other staff to maximize learning opportunities.
• Participates in professional development activities and staff meetings.
• Provides continuous communication with parents to keep them informed of progress.
• Communicates with students, parents, professionals, and support personnel to share information and encourage involvement.
• Performs related duties as required or assigned.
