Qualifications

• Current Licensure as Radiologic Technologist in the State of California.
• Recent graduate eligible for radiologic practice in CA.
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain a work pace appropriate to workload.
• Fluoroscopy license/certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card for LA City Employees (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT/diagnostic radiologic procedures ensuring optimal imaging and correct physician orders.
• Position patients appropriately, maintain sterile environment, and apply ALARA radiation safety.
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy and clarity.
• Handle ancillary tasks such as documentation, supplies, and department records.
• Monitor equipment and procedures, report malfunctions to leadership.
