Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Project Engineer capable of assisting the Project Manager with construction project administration, scheduling, and coordination in the Orlando, FL area.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4 years in construction office/field roles, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Proficiency with PM software (Constructware, P6, Timberline) and JD Edwards is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4 years of construction office or field experience in a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager role.
• 1 year direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with project management software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing administrative and technical requirements for construction projects.
• Support contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and project financial setup and updates.
• Assist with project scheduling to ensure timely completion of quality, profitable work.
• Support project administration, operations, and close-out activities.
• Promote customer and community relations.
• Foster positive culture, leadership, and employee development.
