Bartlett Tree Experts seeks an Arborist Climber Trainee to join our outdoor tree care crew in Lancaster, PA. This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on training, safety, and professional development as you learn pruning, rigging, climbing, and basic tree care on residential and commercial properties.

Work with seasoned arborists, operate equipment safely, and participate in a culture that values learning, advancement, and teamwork. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

On-the-job training to safely perform arboriculture tasks.
Valid drivercuss license required or preferred.
Interest in outdoors year-round and in all weather conditions.
Degree in Arboriculture/Forestry/Horticulture/Turfgrass/Environmental Science/Plant Science/Outdoor Recreation/Agriculture or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with tree climbing, pruning, rigging, and cabling work.
Support removal of hazardous trees and tree identification.
Operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts under supervision.
Follow safety rules and company safety policies.
Help with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
