Drake Companies LLC is seeking an experienced Asphalt Superintendent to oversee field operations for roadways, highways, parking lots, and other asphalt paving projects. This hands-on leadership role manages crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to complete projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of asphalt paving experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, grades, and elevations.
• Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily asphalt paving operations, including crew assignments, equipment deliveries, and subcontractors.
• Review project plans, schedules, and site conditions to ensure grading, base preparation, and drainage are ready for paving.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and plant personnel to maintain progress and adjust operations as conditions change.
• Lead and support foremen, equipment operators, truck drivers, and laborers.
• Set clear expectations for safety, quality, production, and accountability; train employees on paving methods and equipment use.
