Qualifications

• Experience operating the Screed on an Asphalt Paving Machine preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for mix and depth calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Screed on an asphalt paving machine.
• Control materials taken into the paver and depths of material distribution.
• Ensure efficient equipment operation and perform minor servicing or refer major problems.
• Maintain awareness of paving specs, grades, drainage and compaction requirements.
