Job summary

Reeves Construction Company in Duncan, SC is seeking an Asphalt Steel Wheel Roller Operator to support road and site development projects. The ideal candidate will be able to operate a roller for compaction, perform basic inspections, and assist in general site operations while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications include 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or GED preferred, 1–3 months of related experience, and the ability to work day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a roller for compaction of asphalt or dirt and other materials.
• Must have a strong focus on safety and welfare of workers around the machine.
• Basic knowledge of machine mechanics and hydraulics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the asphalt roller to compact asphalt and/or dirt on road and site projects.
• Assist in the general operation of each job site and related equipment.
• Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and in good working order, including housekeeping and routine inspections.
• Understand control levers and movement of the machine.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
