Preferred Materials - Asphalt Division, part of the CRH Florida Division, is seeking a skilled Asphalt Roller Operator to join our paving team in Florida. You will control and operate the asphalt roller, ensuring smooth material transfer from paver and adherence to grades and compaction patterns.

This role requires 1–2 years of asphalt/road construction experience, a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years asphalt/road construction experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Understand paving patterns, grades, drainage, compaction and related asphalt details.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt roller safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor servicing.
• Report major issues to supervisor.
• Follow paving patterns and depths to ensure quality.
