CRH plc is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator for its APAC Alabama operations. The role involves safe, efficient operation of asphalt rollers and compactors on heavy highway projects, ensuring compaction specifications are met.

You will follow grades, read measurements, and maintain reliable attendance while supporting efficient project delivery. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to CRH's quality standards on site in Alabama.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an Asphalt Roller on road construction projects preferred.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate characteristics
• Knowledge of rolling patterns
• Familiarity with vibrating frequencies in comparison to maximum depth
• Must be able to follow grades
• Must be able to repetitively lift 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel
• Capable of passing required physical examination
• Knowledge of equipment and their uses
• Understand and apply basic mathematical skills
• Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards
