Job summary

Pramira is seeking an Asphalt Laborer to join our outside plant division in California. You will support asphalt and pavement maintenance, operate basic tools, and help prepare surfaces while following strict safety and quality procedures.

Ideal candidates will have outdoor construction experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn Maxwell Products' methods. Drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Construction, asphalt, pavement experience preferred.
• Experience with crack sealing or pavement repair is a plus.
• Able to operate melter or kettle for pavement materials.
• Physically capable of heavy outdoor work and lifting.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Willingness to learn Maxwell Products' methods and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction areas to eliminate hazards.
• Assist asphalt and pavement maintenance activities.
• Prepare, place, spread, and finish asphalt materials.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools.
• Assist with crack sealing and pavement repairs.
• Operate melters, kettles and other equipment.
• Measure, mark, cut and prepare surfaces.
• Excavate, trench, grade, fill and compact soil.
• Handle conduit, cables, and other materials.
• Maintain tools and report unsafe equipment.
• Daily site cleanup and debris disposal.
• Assist with traffic control and safe work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety standards/procedures.
