Job summary

CRH is hiring a Quality Control Asphalt Lab Technician to sample asphalt products and ensure compliance with required tests. The role involves coordinating sampling with management, plant personnel and inspectors, and preparing documentation for Quality Control records.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (preferred) and VDOT Asphalt Plant Technician certifications. OSHA safety standards and flexibility for overtime and travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• VDOT Asphalt Plant Technician certification required.
• Other state certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Sample asphalt product to ensure it meets required tests.
• Coordinate daily/weekly sampling with management, plant personnel, crewmembers and inspectors.
• Prepare and submit documentation to Quality Control personnel and address test results.
