Walbec Group is seeking an Asphalt Project Coordinator Summer 2027 Internship in Wisconsin. You will participate in plant safety meetings, assist with safety audits, and support daily asphalt plant operations including production, stockpiling, and loading.

Shadowing plant operators provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes. The candidate should be pursuing a degree in Civil/Mechanical/Mining Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, or related field, be safety oriented, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil/Mechanical/Mining Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, or related field.
• Safety oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• AutoCAD or similar design software experience.

Responsabilités

• Participate in plant safety meetings and follow safety procedures on job sites.
• Assist in site safety audits and daily plant operations at the asphalt plant.
• Observe production processes, stockpiling, loading, and material handling.
• Help track production information, materials, and inventory.
• Collect material samples and observe quality control and plant performance.
• Support projects such as equipment tracking, site documentation, and inventory organization.
• Shadow plant operators and foremen to gain hands-on exposure to asphalt manufacturing operations.
