Job description

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. Our company is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator for our Tallahassee asphalt plant.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose problems and maintain a variety of bulk-handling equipment
2. Perform work area/facility housekeeping functions
3. Sample products in tanks, vessels, trucks
4. Safely handle hazardous products
5. Respond to troubleshooting or maintenance on facility equipment
6. Perform any other type of terminal function as trained or instructed by the supervisor
7. Follow safe practices and procedures
8. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. 6 months minimum experience required
2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
3. Must be willing to obtain training/certifications as required/needed
4. Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
5. Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently
6. Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license
7. Employer conducts drug testing and background check
