Job summary

Sunbelt Asphalt Surfaces, Inc. in New York seeks an experienced Asphalt Plant Loader Operator to join our plant team.

The successful candidate will move materials around and into plant bins, monitor gauges, and maintain aggregate, milling, and sand piles as directed, while adhering to safety protocols. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to perform minor adjustments, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment in an asphalt plant (1+ year).
• Ability to monitor gauges and perform simple math for grade/level checks.
• Must follow safety rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader to move materials and into plant bins.
• Check fluids and monitor engine gauges at start and during operation.
• Perform light mechanical adjustments and assist with repairs.
• Maintain stockpiles of aggregate, milling, and sand.
• Ensure safety of personnel and avoid damage to equipment and surroundings.
• Keep equipment clean and organized and comply with policies.
