Rogers Group is seeking candidates for the position of Asphalt Plant Loader Operator in Jonesboro, AR.

Key Duties

• Operate and maintain asphalt plant and construction equipment safely, ensuring proper maintenance and servicing.
• Determine quantities of materials needed for asphalt production.
• Adjust controls to regulate material flow and maintain system speed.
• Ensure the plant operates at the correct temperature.
• Perform walk-around and site inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Monitor inventory levels and production, making adjustments as needed.
• Supervise and possibly train plant employees.
• Welding skills using arc welder and cutting torch are a plus.
• Monitor site traffic for safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with team and supervisors.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately, entering data into the computer system.
• Maintain cleanliness of control house and yard daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General mechanical knowledge.

• Experience with asphalt environmental standards preferred.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
