Position Summary

This position includes various manual tasks associated with the plant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Possess active listening skills, giving full attention to what other employees are saying and taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions, and ensuring all parties understand one another.
• Interact effectively with others.
• Keep work areas clean and neat.
• Follow verbal instructions.
• Frequent shovel use.
• Perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager/Plant Superintendent/Foreman.
• Assist around the plant as needed; this is a team effort, and we need everybody’s help.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of Heavy/Civil Construction experience required.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Maintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop, and/or twist.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
