Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Operator to join our field crew on civil construction projects.

The role requires operating paving machines to lay asphalt for roads, parking lots, and other surfaces, with emphasis on precision, safety, and quality. You will monitor machine settings, coordinate with the paving crew, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience operating asphalt paving equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
