We are looking to hire Paving Maintenance Technicians for our Paving Group in Charlotte, NC.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General duties associated with asphalt paving, patching, or prep crews.
  • Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, seal coating, power washing, asphalt maintenance, and more.
  • Required ability to shovel, rake, and handle other small tools.
  • Equipment cleanup as needed.
  • May be called upon to run small power tools.
  • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of OSHA and Company safety requirements.
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
  • Maintain schedule/phasing of projects with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
  • Documentation of daily work throughout the duration of the project.
  • Consistent communication with the Company team and Company clients.
  • Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site.
  • Additional tasks as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Graduate preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' construction experience.
  • Class CDL preferred.
