Qualifications

• Previous experience operating an asphalt paver (preferred).
• Knowledge of paving techniques, grades, and asphalt materials.
• Ability to read site plans and follow directions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be preferred depending on company).

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paver machine to apply asphalt evenly and accurately.
• Control material flow, screed settings, and paving speed.
• Ensure proper depth, width, and grade according to project specifications.
• Work closely with screed operators, roller operators, and ground crew.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
