Qualifications

• At least 6 months asphalt equipment experience.
• Experience operating milling machines, rollers, skid-steers, pavers.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a crew.
• Ability to travel to assigned job sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain asphalt construction equipment.
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical problems.
• Follow daily production plans and supervisor instructions.
• Communicate effectively with operators, drivers, laborers, and contractors.
• Assist with equipment setup, site cleanup, traffic control, and general labor as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety procedures.
• Travel to job sites and stay away from home when projects require it.
