Job summary

Asphaltech Pavement Solutions seeks an experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead field operations in Bridgeton, New Jersey. You will direct crews, interpret construction plans, and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to company standards on active sites.

You will manage daily plans, safety compliance, and quality control while coordinating with managers and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and deliver high-quality paving and repairs in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in asphalt operations.

About The Role

As an Asphalt Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day field operations, direct crew members, communicate expectations clearly, and help ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. You will play a key leadership role on active job sites and serve as the link between field production, equipment use, safety practices, and overall crew performance.

• Lead and supervise asphalt crews on active jobsites in and around Bridgeton, NJ
• Coordinate daily work plans, crew assignments, and jobsite workflow
• Monitor equipment use, basic maintenance awareness, and safe operation procedures
• Read and interpret construction plans and communicate scope to the crew

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in asphalt operations
• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience
• Knowledge of asphalt equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; no provisional licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing paving crews in a fast-paced field environment
• Strong problem-solving ability on active construction jobsites
• Ability to train crew members and maintain high performance standards

Schedule / Work Environment

This is a full-time field position based in Bridgeton, New Jersey, with work performed outdoors in changing weather conditions and active construction environments. Candidates should be comfortable working on physically demanding jobsites and leading by example in a safety-focused environment.
