Job summary

Cobb County School District in Marietta is seeking an instructional enrichment facilitator for ASP students. The role focuses on developing engaging activities that extend the curriculum and support student growth.

You will collaborate with the ASP Director, plan and submit activity outlines, and ensure safety procedures are followed while managing daytime schedules and supplies. A Bachelor degree and teaching credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Georgia teaching certificate preferred; CPR and First Aid certification required.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong oral and written communication and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Develops, plans and implements enrichment activities for the students.
• Submits activity plans to the ASP Director.
• Coordinates with ASP Director and ASP Bookkeeper to request permission for supply purchases.
• Follows daily time schedule as assigned by the ASP Director.
• Follows site safety procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.

• PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides instructional enrichment activities for the ASP students. An enrichment activity is an activity that is not normally taught in the school.

Requirements

• Educational Level: Bachelor Degree preferred
• Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred; Must be certified in CPR and First Aid
• Experience: None
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Oral and written communication, instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners, student management, and knowledge of site safety procedures

The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the Above Requirements.
