Cobb County School District is seeking an ASP Account Clerk to support the After-School Program attendance procedures and engage with parents regarding ASP accounts. The role interfaces with the ASP Director and school staff to ensure accurate records and smooth daily operations.

The position calls for a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication and computer skills. It is non-exempt and paid on an ASP2 pay grade with flexible/as-needed workdays.

Qualifikationen

• Certification/License Required: CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience: None
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Oral and written communication, computer skills, math aptitude.

Aufgaben

• Assists the Director with attendance check-in and/or check-out process.
• Prepares and distributes ASP attendance forms for Homeroom teachers to facilitate release of students.
• Reviews and approves contract schedule changes and attendance requests.
• Ensures accuracy of the ASP records including attendance, late fee charges and account balances.
• Assists parents/guardians with questions regarding their Cobb Schools ASP account.
• Assists the ASP Director with identifying and collecting delinquent account balances.
• Documents and reports changes to correct receipt posting errors to the ASP Bookkeeper.
• Identifies and corrects attendance errors.
• Provides ASP Reports as requested by the Principal and/or the ASP Director.
• In the event of emergency, serves as backup to ASP Director for new contract review and approval.
• Reports improprieties found in handling of ASP money or parent accounts/contracts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
