Job summary

Westerman, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect pressure vessels and piping for stress and defects using multiple methods, including NDE, per regulatory and customer requirements. The role supports root cause analysis and maintains quality documentation.

Required knowledge includes ASME codes (VIII, B31.3) and LVL 1 training in VT/PT/UT/MT; prior inspector experience and basic computer skills are preferred. Opportunities to train and coordinate across departments exist.

Qualifications

• 2 years Quality Inspector or equivalent experience required
• ASME Section VIII and B31.3 code knowledge required
• LVL 1 training in VT/PT/UT/MT and RT Film Interpretation preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts of pressure vessels and process piping for stress and failure
• Perform internal testing and non-destructive examinations
• Document tracking and record keeping of quality data
• Coordinate root cause analysis on non-conformities
• Work with multiple departments to communicate issues professionally
