Volt is seeking a Certified Welder for our Ontario, OH operation to fabricate and weld high-pressure vessels and actuators in strict adherence to ASME standards. The role demands precise blueprint interpretation and ongoing maintenance of welding certifications to meet regulatory codes.

This on-site, safety-critical position involves third-party inspection at multiple production stages, first article validation, and strict traceability practices, with a full-time opportunity and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–3 years of advanced industrial welding experience with high-pressure vessels or tanks.
• Ability to pass required site-specific certification testing within the onboarding period (up to 3 attempts).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and fixture setups.
• Must maintain active welding certifications and comply with site certification policy.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate and weld complex pressure vessels, tanks, and actuator components per ASME and regulatory codes.
• Perform precision welds subject to third-party inspections at multiple production stages.
• Interpret engineering drawings to set up fixtures for production runs.
• Prepare, execute, and validate first article inspections to establish quality baselines.
• Maintain lifelong traceability by stamping parts with a unique identifier and logging credentials.
• Coordinate with evaluators and labs to pass internal qualification tests within policy timeframes.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace in a high-heat manufacturing environment.
