Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of pressure vessels and fabricated products. In this full-time permanent role, you will collaborate with production supervisors and QC staff to uphold compliance with ASME and API standards.

The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASME and API standards for pressure vessels and tanks required.
• Certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in PC-based data entry and electronic document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of all materials, structures, and components of pressure vessels.
• Verify compliance with ASME, API, and relevant quality standards.
• Perform independent checks and inspections on materials and products.
• Maintain and document all QC inspections and findings.
• Monitor and train employees on applicable standards.

Skills

Knowledge of ASME and API standards

Certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Certifications in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Ability to read engineering drawings

Strong written communication skills

Strong verbal communication skills

Proficient in data entry

Ability to work independently

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
