This is a crisis group home which is a short‑term, highly supportive residential setting designed for children, teens, or adults who are experiencing an emotional, behavioral, or other crisis. The goal is stabilization — not long‑term placement — so the person can return home or move to a more appropriate setting once th e individual has stabilized and a plan is in place. The individuals we support in this setting are often highly behavioral, may be violent at times, display verbal aggression, and may elope. It is imperative that employees following our training, policies, and care plans to support individuals with these unique needs.

The Asleep Overnight DSP staff are expected to sleep when the individual is stable and does not require support. However, staff must remain responsible for the individual's safety and be prepared to wake when prompted to and provide assistance when needed.
Candidates should be comfortable with the possibility of interrupted sleep and understand that they remain responsible for the individual's health and safety throughout the entire shift.
