Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking an Asleep Overnight Counselor to support overnight and morning routines within our Central Massachusetts programs. You may sleep during overnight hours but must respond to emergencies and assist with morning routines and program needs.

The role involves implementing medication and health protocols, developing individualized service plans, and completing shift documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Implement prescribed medication and health-related protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized service, support, and behavior plans.
• Complete assigned overnight and morning responsibilities, including ensuring all required checklists and documentation are completed by the end of the shift.
• Participate in the development and achievement of program goals and objectives.

While the Asleep Overnight Counselor may sleep during designated overnight periods, they must be available to respond in the event of an emergency or crisis and assist with morning routines and program needs.Other Key Responsibilities:Participate in the development and achievement of program goals and objectives.Implement prescribed medication and health-related protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.Assist in developing and implementing individualized service, support, and behavior plans.Complete assigned overnight and morning responsibilities, including ensuring all required checklists and documentation are completed by the end of the shift.The organization recognizes skills, location, training, and program responsibilities by offering additional hourly differentials for certain positions.
