Job summary

New England Homes for the Deaf is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders for Deaf and hard-of-hearing seniors. The role includes developing therapy plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team on-site in Danvers, MA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid/current Massachusetts license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Willingness to learn American Sign Language (ASL) via on-site classes.

Responsibilities

Provide speech and language therapy evaluation, treatment, teaching, and consultation to patients.
Implement individualized therapy plans and report progress to the treatment team.
Collaborate with Physical and Occupational Therapists to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Participate in ongoing professional development and mandatory requirements.
