Job summary

New England Homes for the Deaf is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders for Deaf and hard-of-hearing seniors. The role includes developing therapy plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team on-site in Danvers, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid/current Massachusetts license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Willingness to learn American Sign Language (ASL) via on-site classes.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy evaluation, treatment, teaching, and consultation to patients.
• Implement individualized therapy plans and report progress to the treatment team.
• Collaborate with Physical and Occupational Therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and mandatory requirements.
