Job summary

Point Quest Group seeks an ASL Interpreter for on-call, in-person support in Conroe, TX. You will provide real-time interpretation for students and families during school meetings, collaborating with teachers and service providers to ensure effective communication and inclusion.

The role requires strong ASL fluency, relevant certification, and ability to work in dynamic school environments. Prior experience in K-12 settings is preferred; DOJ/FBI background check is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter or equivalent.
• Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state/national fingerprint clearance).
• RID certification required; EIPA score 3.5 or higher preferred/accepted.
• Strong ASL fluency and ability to interpret in real-time academic settings.

About the Role:

As a Sign Language Interpreter with Point Quest Group, you'll play a vital role in ensuring equitable access to education for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.Provide interpretation services for students and families, for school meetings. This role requires strong real-time interpreting skills, collaboration with teachers, staff, and related service providers to support student/family during meetings and conferences. .
