Language Services Associates, Inc. is actively seeking American Sign Language interpreters in the Asheville, NC area as part of its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters.

You will support LEP community interactions across diverse settings, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional conduct and client-specific procedures. Responsibilities include on-site assignment reporting, exceptional customer service, and compliance with interpreter protocols and clearance

Formación

• Associate or bachelor's degree required.
• RID certification required.
• State interpreting licensure as applicable.
• Fluency in English and ASL required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
